Rumjig are a fearless funky foursome playing stages around the UK to combat bitterness, blues and boredom. With good conscience lyrics and a banquet of genres, this bands soul intention is to uplift and ignite peoples lust for life.
Rumjig consist of jazzy nuts, swollen funk raisins, hippy giblets, eggy goodness, ravin circus flour, suger sweet soul, half a litre of rum and ounces of creamy buttery jiggy fun.
People have always struggled to describe thier music but the genres that shine through are; Jazz, Blues, Funk, Dub reggae, Latino, DnB.
Artists influences are; Eryka badu, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Feist, Lamb, Fat Freddy's Drop, Manu Chao, Mother nature, The cat Empire, ale, Jimi Hendrix, pulses, lentils and sausage rolls.

'I know the notion is silly at this point in your career, but i wish you guys could come to America and play. i think i can say in all honesty that Rumjig has it's own sound that no one can really touch in a million years. i said it once before: there were The Beatles, then came Flock of Seagulls, and now Rumjig. Liverp...ool's got something special about it. most of us Americans dream of heading out to California to hit the big time, but i personally would rather travel to Liverpool for the enlightenment! :-)
