Ahoy mudlubbers, we are the Stumblefunk Soundsystem. Women’s Institute Free Party Soundsystem of the Year. We like the outdoor things and we like the bass things very much and once again we’ll be throwing open our flaps in order to bring you the very best talent from sunny Manchester and beyond.
Stumblefunk – we have more than a little bit of what you fancy. Come and get dirty with us.
Friday – what can only be described
as a massive Stumblefunk bender, lots of our bestest friends will be pwning all
comers with heavyweight breaks, deep acid and techno, huge mash-ups and some
very heavy bass workouts.
Saturday – in light of their large contribution to NW bass manoeuvres in recent years, we’re handing over Saturday to the Herbal Sessions and Drum Music crews. There is so much up and coming talent here it’s untrue and a properly wide variety of bass related antics.
Sunday – and on the third day, we said: "loosen it up a beat". The sounds will be eclectic and we’ll be mixing it up with some sweet live bands, including the wholly remarkable Thingumabob and the Thingummajigs amongst others.
There will also be other things that are good, yes indeed.
