Knob Jockeys are three DJs/producers based in Manchester, UK. They've recently picked up support not only from DJ Magazine, but also from Rusko and Kissy Sell Out getting airplay on Radio 1 and Radio 1 Xtra.
Knob Jockeys are three DJs/producers based in Manchester playing electro,
dubstep, house and breaks. 2009 proved to be a busy year:
• Dubstep producer Rusko picked out their minimix of their own productions to play on his BBC 1Xtra show. The mix was subsequently selected by Mixcloud as a featured mix.
• They played some great gigs including Carry On alongside Rennie Pilgrem and rocked-out the Beat-Herder Festival.
• DJ Magazine chose their September dubstep/electro mix as the Pick ‘n’ Mix highlight of the month.
2010 looks very promising too - January saw their first official release in the form of a remix of Vortech's Wub Steppin' for Kiss My Bass Records. It’s described as "smatterings of dubstep, breaks, house and electro in a spiralling and exciting remix".
Their current remix of JOKR’s Snaggletooth has received great support from the music-blog world and has been played by Kissy Sell Out on his Radio 1 show.
