‘Tanante’ are a high energy dynamic drumming troupe focusing on the djembe tradition of West Africa. Since 2003, members of the group have travelled to Africa undergoing intensive training with master drummers (in Guinea, Senegal, Gambia & Burkina Faso). Tanante are highly experienced performers and have long been the resident band at Drum Music (Manchester’s most diverse & cutting edge club night!)
