Red J (TT Resident)
Red J has been part of our resident team from day one. Although he’s the youngest of our residents, he already has a huge amount of DJ experience under his belt. Despite his tender years, he’s already a Beat Herder veteran – having played at each & every one – both in the Trailer Trash lounge & on the Toil Trees Rig as well popping up in various other on-site locations. Previous years have seen him play at the Rocket Festival [Spain], Palgowan Festival [Scotland] & Solfest [Cumbria]
His musical preferences range from cutting-edge dubstep & Drum & Bass through to reggae, dub & hip-hop with a nod to classic house & techno thrown in.
Red J hosts a weekly show on Konflikt Radio (Sundays 6-8) and holds a residency with the Underground Roots Sound system which has seen him spinning at parties all over the North of England. Recently he has appeared alongside D&B pioneer Ed-Rush at BOPS [Bradford] & is now a resident at dubstep-night Powah [Huddersfield].
