The DIY Bandstand
This is how it'll work:
- We'll provide a rustic band stand. It may or may not have power and a simple p.a. It'll probably be covered, so your song sheets will stay dry if it rains.
- You turn up and put your name on the blackboard in the next available time slot, or one that suits you.
- At the alloted hour, you appear and perform your performance, be it song, story or whatever. (make sure you bring along anything you may need)
- The viewing public applaudes/laughs/boos/cheers/etc.
- Entertainment is created!
